This small 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom house in Independence, MO was more of a labor of love than an investment.  The house belonged to a very close long time family friend and was inherited by a family member.  Apex came into the project midway through and, as such, some improvements had already been made.  Major upgrades included replacing the existing window A/C unit and wall furnace with a central unit, a new roof, and all new interiors including the kitchen and bath.  Some structural issues had to be addressed where a floor furnace had once been and also on some ceilings which had significant sagging.  On the exterior several areas of decay had to be addressed before the house could be repainted.
